I am a passionate customer and marketing professional with 25 years of multinational corporate experience (10+ in the animal health industry), during which I have consistently delivered strong results in brand building (including consumer understanding and segmentation, portfolio strategy development, brand identity and product design), in-market business delivery (P&L responsibility, retailer exposure, communication and supply plans development) and organization development / transition (including integrations, reorganizations, divestiture). I had the opportunity to manage iconic brands like Gillette, Tide, Pantene, Head&Shoulders, Wella, IAMS or Fairy, lead white space expansions, new category entries, brand consolidations and discontinuations. I have headed up sizeable, regionally or globally dispersed multifunctional teams based and lead them through re-designs / location changes / divestitures. I have been a passionate trainer and coach since the early days.
In this position I am responsible for supporting the Companion Animal Business with unique and actionable customer and market insights globally.
Key responsibilities include: - Delivery of demand creation plans including professional influencer, digital marketing and in-store activities to grow the market share on Eukanuba and IAMS in Europe. - Leading the portfolio innovation program for the region across multiple segments, price tiers and product forms. - Leading and growing a medium sized, geographically dispersed marketing organization.
Key job elements were: - Deliver volume / sales / value share growth targets of the Male grooming (Gillette, Old Spice), Female shaving (Venus), Oral Care (Oral-B, Blend-a-med) and Hair care (Pantene, Head&Shoulders, Wella) categories in 5 countries - Implement communication and in-store (distribution, pricing, shelving, merchandising) strategies across the portfolio - Head up a 50+ member multifunctional (supply, marketing, finance, trade marketing, communications) market operations team - Lead the transition of the Beauty and Grooming business into a new organizational and operational setup across 9 countries in Central Europe
Served in three different regional assignments as Brand Manager between 2002 and 2010: 2008 - 2010: Brand Manager Home Care P&G Central Europe South (Budapest) with the key tasks of delivering volume, sales and share growth targets on Hand dish and Surface care and expanding the market leading dish care brand into new segments behind new business models. 2006 - 2008: Brand Manager Surface Care P&G CEEMEA (Brussels) in charge of delivering business targets and 36-months innovation pipeline on CEEMEA Surface care portfolio, designing a new household cleaning brand proposition (including brand equity and visual identity, product, packaging, advertising and go-to-market strategies) and launching across the CIS countries. 2002 - 2006 - Brand Manager Home Care P&G Central Europe South (Budapest) responsible for growing the market leading Hand dish business in the existing 4 markets and successfully expanding into Hungary white space vis-a-vis Henkel and Unilever (became market leader in 12 months).
