Bereits mit Beginn des Studiums hatte ich erste Kontakte mit der Payment Branche mit der ich mich nun seit mehr als 10 Jahren beschäftige. Nach vielen Jahren in der Beratung (Payment, Banking, eHealth) bin ich 2019 in die Otto Group gewechselt. Dort habe ich seit 2020 in diversen Rollen aktiv am Aufbau der OTTO Payments mitgewirkt. Neben der Projektarbeit im Rahmen des Lizenzverfahrens bei der BaFin, habe ich u.a. den Strategie- und Einkaufsbereich geleitet. Aktuell führe ich den Bereich Operations der sowohl für B2C Operations, als auch B2B Operations inklusive den Fraud-Teams verantwortlich ist.

      Responsible for leading the Operations department at OTTO Payments, driving its growth and transformation over the past three years. Successfully navigated the department through one of the largest IT projects in OTTO's e-commerce history while scaling transaction volumes by 5x within just one year. Accountable for end-to-end operational excellence across B2C Operations (customer interaction, touchpoints with customer service center, 3rd Level customer support), B2B Operations (partner onboarding, KYC, lifecycle management), and Creditworthiness & Fraud (limit management, fraud prevention, regulation of customer accounts). As part of the transformation, successfully developed the B2C Operations area towards the Product department, ensuring a seamless integration and alignment with product strategies. Led a team that scaled up to a maximum of 100 colleagues during the build-up and scale-up phase. Over the past 1.5 years, the team size has been systematically reduced to around 70 through continuous automation and process optimization, creating a leaner and more efficient organizational structure. Focused on driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth throughout this transformation. Additionally responsible for Business Continuity Management (crisis management) and the formalized process documentation (schriftlich fixierte Ordnung) of OTTO Payments. Directly reporting to the Managing Director, I have consistently aimed to align operational strategies with business goals, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and readiness for future challenges.
