- Lead grant initiatives provided by Eastern University for delivery to districts in Chester County under a National Professional Development Grant provided by the U.S. Department of Education. - Facilitate & develop graduate-level courses associated with program objectives and professional learning community. - Develop programming for staff, educators, and family workshops.
- Honored to be recognized on the field of Citizen's Bank Park with our award winner in the Phillies Phanatic About Reading program. Our student was chosen as 1 of 5 TOP READERS out of 164,000 enrolled students (also representing the only school in Chester County to be selected). -Spearheaded the “Phillies Phanatic About Reading” program initiative for all middle school students in Oxford. - Recipient of the James Patterson Award (2024), a national recognition coordinated by the American Library Association. - Curriculum Developer for Hornet Virtual Academy in the role of Content Writer/Developer of English Language Arts (ELA) and Library Science courses, creating online course content for eight grade levels, consisting of 360 weeks of lesson content. - Awarded OEF grant for the 2023-2024 school year for middle school library materials. - Manage a library collection of 27,000 items (physical and eResources) for a population of just under 600 students. - Execute an annual budget to address library needs.

English Teacher (Previous Position): - Spearheaded the Library Restoration service project and obtained the necessary Level II certification in Library Science in order to launch and oversee this project. - Supervised Drexel University practicum students in their student teaching field placements and conducted formal observations, evaluations, & feedback. - Lead & authored grant & fundraising initiatives in order to receive funding and materials to support our middle school students and library. - Launched and completed a successful Donors Choose campaign calling for updated technology and materials for writing workshops. - Synthesized data for the Middle School team for PVAAS, RTII intervention progress tracking, and PSSA/Benchmark skill assessments. - Coordinated the middle school rotation schedule and graduation ceremony. - Adapted lessons to reach diverse learners. - Lead TI EC activities for after school tutoring.
Family and Community Learning, 2010-Present: - Represent the museum at community outreach events including Sister Cities Park International Festival (2014) and ARTspiration Festival at Fleisher Art Memorial (2015). - Composed & authored letters to individual and corporate donors and articles for donor-interest publications for the Office of Development. - Lead and develop interactive tours targeted for children and family visitors. - Serve as a Gallery Educator and utilize the museum collection and special exhibits to forge learning opportunities for all educational levels, ranging from Pre-K to College and adult learners. - Prepare educational activities in gallery spaces to be utilized during scheduled museum tours. - Co-teach community groups comprising of specialized gallery tours and studio art workshops. - Photograph participants in gallery workshops and studio art making for use in education department materials and social media.
