Born in Tanglin and raised in Pasir Ris, I’m Lynette — a content creator with a passion for connecting with people through voice and storytelling. Radio has been my calling since young, and I’ve been actively honing my skills in presenting and live hosting ever since. In 2016, I won 987 Star, and proudly hosted the weekend shows on 987FM from 10am–2pm. I’ve also had the honour of hosting the ASEAN Schools Games 2017, which aired on OktoSports. Beyond the airwaves, I’ve emceed a wide range of events — from fashion and beauty showcases to corporate launches and weddings — always bringing energy, warmth, and a personal touch to the mic. More recently, I’ve expanded my creative journey as a content creator and marketing strategist for InShot, where I craft engaging content and drive strategic campaigns to build stronger brand connections. Diving into digital marketing has been an exciting way to tell stories and connect with audiences on an even larger scale. When I’m not behind a mic (or a camera), you might find me munching on spicy Cheetos, moonlight jogging, or dancing like no one’s watching. I was scouted by InShot to be the face of their brand, creating engaging on-screen content for platforms like YouTube and TikTok. As I grew into the role, I expanded my responsibilities to include marketing strategy alongside content creation. As a Social Media Content Creator, I produce creative and impactful videos using InShot’s features to showcase the app’s capabilities across our social platforms. Over time, I took on a more strategic role—analyzing social media trends, identifying growth opportunities, and developing content strategies tailored to each platform. I regularly lead weekly meetings to present performance analyses and strategic recommendations, directly contributing to the brand’s online growth. Notably, I helped scale InShot’s YouTube channel from under one million to over 2.24 million subscribers, and grew our TikTok following to 560k+ through consistent, data-driven content and community engagement.
Apart from radio duties, I hone my skills and confidence in public speaking by hosting various livestreams & events from fashion, beauty and corporate events to weddings.
As Digital Content Executive, my duties include conceptualising, executing and producing digital content for all brands across multiple social media platforms - Facebook, YouTube, Instagram & TikTok. This has honed my skills in video production & editing and basic graphic design.
Hosted the Weekend morning shows live from 10am - 2pm on 987FM as a radio presenter. This opportunity has given me invaluable hands-on experiences at paneling while hosting my own radio show, recording show liners within designated time slots as well as planning a radio show. These experiences have sharpened my dexterity, honed my skills in multi-tasking and trained me to perform under pressure.
Had the privilege of clinching an internship with Singapore Airlines as a cabin crew in my final semester of school. This internship has taken me places, broadened my perspective and shaped my early years of #adulting. With prior experience as a cabin crew, I am easily adaptable to time & weather changes. Flying has also honed my problem-solving skills as I encountered various situations which had to be dealt with instantly. The ability to work irregular hours, training in safety and first-aid have equipped me for a future beyond my flying career.
