- Engage in developmental efforts to grow the financial sector and strengthen the network of FI and ancillary services in Singapore. - The role manages and builds relationship-building with banks, drive MAS’ strategies such as fostering adoption of AI and innovation, facilitate tax incentives and grant, support senior management engagements including speaking engagements at FI events and work with multiple stakeholders across departments to organize event such as MAS International Advisory Panel (IAP) meeting.
- Originated and implemented Trade and Cash Management solutioning, including payment solutions and liquidity management, for clients from Public Sector and Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI). - worked with multiple internal parties such as Product, Implementation and Client Services team, as part of the implementation and delivery of these solutions. - Had marketing responsibilities which include organizing industry-wide event
- Held a portfolio of FI clients comprising of banks, insurance companies, broker-dealer, and private equity firms. I provided coverage and managed client discussions ranging from payments and collections, to foreign exchange management. - Originated new business pipelines across FI client base by identifying client needs and delivering solutions by collaborating closely with product partners from Treasury, TTS, Security Services, Private and Consumer bank - Supported by a team of Relationship Assistants, I managed accounting opening, performed periodic Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and credit reviews, and resolved client escalation related matters.
- Headed the processing unit of 12 staff which handled the settlements and confirmations of Treasury deals - As the head of the processing unit, I fostered partnerships across Business, Legal, Finance, Market Risk, Technology, and other Operation units to work towards common objectives. - Besides ensuring smooth daily settlements and confirmations performed by the team, I fronted audit reviews by both internal and external auditors, oversaw operational risk and control processes, and undertook major system migration projects.
