At the State Capitol, I use to work as an Administrative Assistant. In 6 years i had the opportunity to work in different departments. When I first start, I assist the Director of Initiative and Opportunity Office, which use to study, analize and write proposal for Federal Funds, that qualify for renovations at the State Capitol. My duties were, assist the team, ease the documents and keep them organized to write the proposal, help working it on power point. Attend and coordinate, meetings with engineers and architecs, so the proposal could have the correct studies and evidence as they were applicable. Keep the team, up to date, so they could be on time for the dead line. I also work for the Tourism Company of Puerto Rico, under the supervision of the State Capitol. At the Tourism Company, I had an amazing experience and it also gave me the opportunity to put into practice my english. Working as a receptionist in front desk, giving the tourists all the information they need, such as places to go, eat and where to have fun, day and nights. In the case they need, i also help them in the process, to rent a car or either make a hotel reservations. Some times i used to do duties, as an administrative assistant as they required. My last 2 years, at the State Capitol, i work for the Department of Facilities Administration and Beautification Brigade. My duties as an Administrative Assistant, for the brigade were, Keep every information, documents, duties equipment, updated, for them as request. Attend and coordinate meetings and trainings, with the companies for the use and management of the equipments. I also used to go, to the field and supervise their work and take pictures for a quarterly report.
Working at the Customer Service, Call Center Taking care of the needs and doubts of our customers who are constantly driving thru the Turnpike, Florida. Our goal give the best service and have all customers, well oriented.
In this company, they subcontract my services as a promotions coordinator. Weekly, the company send me a schedule of the places and hours, the models and promoters have to go and work. I coordinate and supervise them as the company request. I had a group of models and promoters, available at any time, that way, I could provide the company the personal as soon as they need them. I'm also a seamstress, so I usually, design and made the costumes too, which was a plus for me.
By the 1995, was founded G&G Promotions & Events, I was the Vice-President and the Promotions Coordinator. Besides recruit personal, such as models, promoters and supervisors, i also took care of all office duties, like make the schedule, do the payroll and train the personal. I usually, attend to trainings of the different companies, which some of them were, Mendez & Comp., whom distributes Johnny Walker(black label) and Heineken, V Suarez with Coors Light, Smirnoff, etc., and Serrallés Distillery, with Don Q Rum. These companies subcontract, our services for differents events, such as Conventios of the Chamber of Commerce, places where they could promote the sales of their products,like on supermarkets, night clubs, liquor stores, etc. Working, with promotions, was a wonderful experience for me, I learn a lot about Marketing and Publicity and it also allowed me to socialize with, many Hotels, Restaurants, Night Clubs, etc., owners and managers. I really will like to work for a company, were I can have the opportunity to show my professionalism and my charismatic personality, while applying my skills, experiences and qualifications for the benefit of the company. I love this kind of job
