While establishing a Biosimilars Business for Sanofi China, collaborating on the development and commercialization of biological therapeutics in China with strategic partner(s). Capitalizing on collaborations to bring together complementary capabilities of different companies and demonstrating Sanofi’s commitment to expanding patient access to affordable high quality modern therapies through local development of Biosimilars in China, following rigorously international standards.
In collaboration with the Biologics Platform, Commercial Operations and Sanofi China strategic options in the field of technical development and manufacturing, R&D and Medicine as well as Commercialization will be developed for the Chinese market.
Establish and further broaden solid interfaces between the Businesses of Sanofi TmAbs, Pasteur and Genzyme and to connect with the divisional and corporate functions like the Therapeutic Areas of Diabetes, Oncology and Immunology, the Marketing and Sales and Market Access organizations as well the CMO in order to ensure that business needs are taken into account. Facilitate integration of all aspects into the development as well as the life cycle Management of Sanofi's and their companies' biological molecules, ensuring alignment of strategy between Corporate and the respective entities. Main contact partners are the top executives worldwide. By close collaboration of Biologics with Research and Businesses and interaction and cooperation with the other different divisions of Sanofi, ensuring that Sanofi globally as well as the specific divisions are set up to master the technological challenges of tomorrow, mid and long term in development and launch of new products and manufacturing, specifically in the context of Quality, Supply and Costs. Foster sense of urgency for time-to-market and quality/excellence of Biologic/Vaccine drug development within a given budget frame in all phases and major product maintenance and optimization (PMO) or Life-Cycle Management activities (LCM) for Sanofi/Genzyme/Pasteur and in-licensed Biologic compounds/products across all relevant functional and corporate disciplines. Support and advocate global and local policy initiatives that will be essential to successful Biologic launch. Ensure tight coordination across the global Sanofi Organization, including but not limited to Boston, Frankfurt, Paris, Lyon and in the future Singapore. Strengthen knowledge and information flow regarding the Business Key Accounts, by all the above strengthen the importance of Integration and Interphase Management for Sanofi in general and for Biologics in particular. Focusing on framing conditions for future optimized development and production.
