Engaged to lead the $235 million transformation project for a Central Business District (CBD) development plan spanning a portfolio of 16 major projects in addition to refining the vision, direction, and deliverables for each project. I was also responsible for managing all elements of finance, operations, marketing, and human resources. This included developing new administration offices and a library for the central city area; new CBD precincts for entertainment, dining, bars, civic services, health, and high-density residential, retail, and associated redevelopment projects per precinct; multipurpose Performing Arts and Culture convention spaces; and a state-of-the-art transit centre. Notable Achievements • Re-visioned and re-designed the Ipswich City Centre, directly reporting to the CEO throughout the delivery of all development phases. • Redefined the usage and makeup of businesses in the city centre by identifying areas of opportunity for commercial growth. • Coordinated an A-Class workforce of designers to support the redevelopment and re-engineering of civic spaces.
Responsible for the strategic development and operation of bottom-line factors spanning long-range business development planning; recruitment and talent management; project management; marketing and sales; and real estate acquisition and development. This included facilitating cross-functional support to VP's, the CFO and COO whilst managing a large team to coordinate organisational structure, pricing, service delivery, and financial evaluations for the main group and its core subsidiaries. Notable Achievements • Delivered new strategies which not only increased the group’s market share but also enabled it to expand operations across China, Vietnam, and Hong Kong market spaces. • Facilitated the development and launch of several high-end international schools with tight development deadlines, achieved by redesigning delivery schedules to ensure that the facilities met programme specifications.
