Supported Sac State public relations and digital marketing staff on a variety of alumni outreach projects to increase their social media following, promote awareness of alumni association events and activities, fundraising, member retention, and drive website traffic. This role included content creation and management for their website, social media channels, and newsletters. As part of this three-month internship, I designed a promotional campaign and managed a unique event named "Dining on the Move", including developing the communication strategy and budget, coordinating with six local restaurants to host alumni and build custom food and beverage menus, executing multi-channel event promotions, and personally attending each location. The successful event drew 20+ attendees and generated a sizable financial impact for the Alumni Association.
