I am passionate about developing specialised skillsets and creating positive impacts within a greater team. As an adaptable man with many diverse experiences, I bring a unique and optimistic mindset to any situation, with persistence to always improve. At university I have studied an extensive range of biological topics, from conservation to zoology, each providing intriguing insights into the incredible facets that make up the world we live in. Applying these studies into meaningful practices to generation lasting improvements is a key goal of mine. My previous work experience has garnered many essential skills which can be utilised in innumerable circumstances. My introduction to work was as a cashier at a local deli, this quickly developed my ability to converse with a large range of customers and colleagues, from a variety of ages. As well as this, it taught me how to handle responsibility and time management in the workplace. Throughout my teenage years I engaged in running a small clothes selling business, which greatly improved my knowledge, and thus ability, to both source and communicate with potential clients. My experience working in a local pub has been incredible for enhancing essential life skills. I have excelled at both working as a cog in an efficient machine, as well as balancing tasks to run it individually. My leadership, communication, organisation and adaptability have all improved significantly during my time there. In addition to experience in the workplace, I also have extensive experience doing volunteer work. As a young leader in a scout troop for just under a year, I was able to assist the leader, as well as help lead the young scouts in many enriching activities, helping them gain confidence and socialise with others. I have also worked with children during a period of running the biology club for the younger years while completing my A-Levels, to offer the opportunity to expand their knowledge outside of their curriculum. I also spent just under a year helping at a Loros children's shop, this required particularly efficient organisation skills and teamwork was key to work effectively. This was especially rewarding, as I was able to see first hand those less fortunate than myself, which was extremely humbling.
