Varied experience in Mechanical, Industrial and Manufacturing. Lean and Six Sigma, with a green belt and practical and theoretical experience in one piece flow and other lean tools as applied to manufacturing and design. CAD and PLM, with hands on experience in CAD design, use of PLM tools, implementation and organization of PLM. CFD and fluid dynamic analysis and design, with hands on and theoretical experience in fluid systems analysis and design, CFD prices and methodology development.

CNC machines (Laser and brake) preventative maintenance, scheduling, tooling and troubleshooting. Process development and improvements in scheduling, parts flow and CNC programming.
Lean process implementation in manufacturing. One piece flow development, planning and controlling WIP in the process, reducing wastes and organizing floor plan layout to achieve all of the above.
All engineering duties (new product design to existing product support) for outdoor wood burning furnaces. Worked with team in developing a new product, outdoor biomass furnace. Challenges included - selecting the right drive system (motors and gearboxes) to drive the various augers on the unit - designing the right fan/blower that would give the required CFM and withstand the high temps - getting the PLC system to work for the unit taking into account various failsafe scenarios
