I’m a Pottery Studio Manager turned Operations Manager that aims to bring a welcoming, proactive and creative approach to coworking managed spaces. Studio Management of a large membership pottery studio with over 120 users + regular classes. As a small company, the role is varied and multi-responsibility. My main responsibilities include: - Daily responsibilities include general management of the studio, team management, staff rota, email enquiries and on- site problem solving. - Manage a team of 10 technicians, 5 teachers and our 120 strong membership. - Organise & run our wider studio events, such as our in-studio markets attended by ~1000 visitors -Repair and install equipment - including gas kilns, wheels, spray booth & general studio equipment. - Teaching - Raku firings & 1 to 1 pottery sessions. - Creation & roll out of company wide social media marketing strategy. - Organisation of staff training days, such as an off-site Raku course & introduced 6 month reviews for staff to encourage career growth within the team. - 100% 5 Star Google reviews for the site since taking up the position

I provide technical assistance & inductions for studio members, kiln load/unload kilns, reclaim clay, glaze mixing & general studio maintenance
