I am a Commissioned Officer in the Royal Air Force, serving within the People Operations Profession as a Human Resources specialist and People Leader. During my Service career I have completed selection for all three of the Armed Forces, including serving with the 1st Btn Welsh Guards as a rifleman, anti-tank missile-man (MILAN Platoon) and successfully completing selection for P-Company (Parachutist training) at ITC Catterick. In addition I have completed the RNAC and PEDA for the Royal Navy (RN) and deployed with the RN during OP ISOTROPE. I have also served in the logistics field within the Royal Air Force for 6 years, and deployed to Afghanistan as a detainee handler before commissioning as a Royal Air Force Officer in the People Operations Profession. I have deployed on operational tours and exercises all over the World during my time serving in His Majesty's Armed Forces. Outside of my professional role: Professional sport. - I am a Licensed British Board of Boxing Control (BBBoC) professional boxing trainer & second. I have trained professional boxers at Welsh, Celtic, British & Commonwealth title level in televised bouts. - BKB trainer and second in televised bouts. Amateur Sport: MMA Cymru - Team manager and cornerman - European & World Championships. Boxing - I hold the WABA full trainers licence and I am a qualified referee and judge (R&J) for amateur boxing in Wales. GAA - I am a Level 1 Gaelic Amateur Association (GAA) qualified football coach - Pride of Erin - Newport GAA.     Head Coach of SMOA Professional Boxing Team. I led the team for professional boxer Craig Woodruff, under my tutelage he rose from 86 to number 4 in the United Kingdom rankings and to 40 in the World boxing rankings. In this time he has fought for the Super Lightweight - Welsh title, a Lightweight Celtic title, a British lightweight eliminator and ultimately fought for the British lightweight title twice. Team SMOA's initial goals was to secure a challenge for the coveted Lonsdale Belt by winning a British eliminator. The team achieved this goal when Craig won the British eliminator and with it the BBBoC Celtic Lightweight title against Ronnie Clark. Craig faced Gavin Gwynne for the 'British & Commonwealth lightweight titles' on TV both on Channel 5 and DAZN TV platforms. They topped the bill on Channel 5. The bout was declared a draw and Craig put in a career best performance. A rematch was ordered and Gwynne v Woodruff 2 was announced to compete at the CIA Cardiff in a sold out area a and on the πŸ“Ί platform DAZN.
