Fox Glacier Top 10 Holiday Park is a busy park in the heart of the Glacier Country. The park has rooms and sites for both campervans and tents. My role was as duty manager. • Managed all staff when the Park Managers were not on shift • Answered after-hours phone calls, dealing with customers' requests • Reception and reservation duties • Sold trips and Top 10 memberships to suit customers' requirements • Carried out housekeeping and cleaning of the accommodation and communal facilities • Supported with general park and grounds maintenance. • Responsible for cashing up, stock control and purchasing new stock • Handled customer complaints and ensured guests enjoyed their stay
Rainbow South Wales and Bristol is a small franchise working alongside Insurance companies, Loss Adjusters, customers and Surveyors to restore properties and contents following a disaster. My role started as a BDMA-qualified technician, progressing up to my current role as a leak detection/senior technician with a BDMA qualification. • Carried out the process of leak detection using specialist equipment including, thermal imaging, acoustics and borescope. • Remote working dealing with claims around Bristol. • Assisted with the training of trainee technicians. • Assessed the damage caused by the disaster. • Compiled reports for the necessary work to restore the property and contents to a pre-loss condition. • Reporting my findings in both verbal and written communication to policyholders, loss adjusters, surveyors, and insurance companies. • Created and installed the necessary drying program following water damage. • Carried out weekly monitor visits to properties. • On-call once a month to cover any inquiries during the hours that the office is closed.

My role started as a trainee technician, progressing up to a BDMA qualified technician. • Project-managed VIP claims. • Assessed the damage caused by the disaster. • Compiled reports for the necessary work that was required to restore the property and contents back to a pre-loss condition. • Reported my findings in both verbal and written communication to policyholders, loss adjusters, surveyors, and insurance companies. • Worked in a team or individually to create and install the necessary drying program following water damage. • Carried out decontamination works to properties and contents following fire damage. • Created inventory lists and photo albums before removing contents from the property.
