    I participated in collaborative, team-derived work geared toward civil and urban engineering. We redesigned a section of the Long Island City area, to implement a large-scale mall, that could accommodate housing, traffic, the Long Island Railroad, commercial retail, accessible transportation, etc. My team in this project focused on the mechanical and plumbing aspects, such as determining the quantity of water needed to be supplied to accommodate the entirety of the building. At the end of the internship, an oral presentation was given. Through this program, I fostered connections with engineers at ELQ Industries, AECOM, and MTA.
