Transformed the organization to maintain market leadership and high profits while navigating a severe down-market cycle.
Full P&L for the North America region: $1.4B revenue, 10 plants, 4 R&D centers, 7,500 employees. Board member of JV between Faurecia NA and DMS, Detroit Manufacturing Systems (minority model). Managed complex unionized labor environments and intensive production operations including JVs, with focus on accelerating the profitability agenda through the COVID-19 pandemic and supply chain disruption.
Full P&L for Asia Pacific: $300M revenue, 5 plants in India, Thailand, South Korea, and Vietnam, 4 R&D centers, 2,000 employees. Chairman of FHI (Faurecia-Howa JV, Japan) and Board member of FSIS (Faurecia-Summit JV, Thailand). Executed a full operational turn-around, reaching a sustained P&L profitability run rate at double digit while entering Japanese-OEM Keiretsu and expanding business in new regions like Vietnam, Korea and Thailand.
