About

A bit more about me: I am curious about how things work, passionate about using technology to build valuable solutions and products, and I believe we must care for both mind and body. I won my first computer at 13 at a national school competition and learned to code through magazines as there was no internet. I started working in a startup doing everything from mobile development to setting up data centers, from providing 24/7 support to pre-sales. Microsoft eventually acquired that startup. A few years later, I launched my startup in the tech space, which Farfetch acquired. In between, I won the first worldwide Google Android Developers Challenge in 2008, which led to a successfully IPOed startup 11 years later, wrote for magazines, and learned to be on stage. I became interested in martial arts at 15, having done competitive tae kwon do and exploring other styles, from kickboxing to capoeira. I continue to exercise, meditate, and keep healthy by learning to balance work and life (knowing I can be a workaholic).
