Team coordinator and management of photovoltaic technology supply chain engagement, monitoring, technical specification & assessment & validation, and supply agreement negotiation for their procurement and installation on utility-scale PV plants.
Management of wind turbine generators, solar PV modules, solar PV inverters and other critical components supply chain, in an international context: China, India, Europe, USA, Latin America, South Africa, and others. The role requires deep multidisciplinary technological and commercial knowledge and anticipation, awareness of state of the art of the industry, contract negotiation skills, leadership of tender processes, management of strategic suppliers, supplier's engagement, assessment and validation. Other accountabilities are related with market survey and analysis, and identification of opportunities and new suppliers.
The role consisted in the starting-up the Renewable Division of Iberdrola Ingeniería y Construcción subsidiary in the UK (Glasgow). The main accountabilities related with the role were onshore and offshore wind business strategy plan development, in combination with task scheduling, framework agreements negotiation and recruitment of the necessary workforce: project managers, project engineers, technical specialists and administration staff. Upon successful project opportunities identification, I managed various tender processes which were awarded. For those I acted as the interface towards the client as well as project coordinator for scopes as C&I Design, Civil Works Design and Site Work Supervision.
As a member of a reduced team of expatriated staff, I actively collaborated in the implementation of Iberdrola Ingeniería y Construcción subsidiary in the UK (Glasgow) as the internal technical service provider of Iberdrola’s owned Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN). The main accountabilities consisted in the analysis and integration of client’s and own operational processes related with Electrical Networks and Interconnections design and project delivery. In coordination with SPEN, I managed the process of Inter-company business model integration, which required extremely demanding multidisciplinary team coordination skills and strong client interface skills.
