As Senior Manufacturing Engineer Assembly at the New Product Introduction department, I’m responsible for the creation of internal products, creating requirements for production tools for the new products, and ensuring the manufacturing process improvements by means of - Capturing & organizing the production flow and Industrialization process, Capture and organize the production flow: Responsible for the support of the production process in realizing and qualifying prototypes and pilots towards volume manufacturing, bearing the technical responsibility for technical release and acceptance of new product documentation. Responsible for organizing and holding review meetings with the customers and Supply Chain Engineers to solve technical issues and achieve the release through Engineering Change (EC). Responsible for technical support of work preparation and assembly during proto and pilot production Reviewing and releasing Engineering Change (EC) and Element Performance Specification documents (EPS). Contact point of all Product Specific Communication on Technology issues between VDL, Plansee, AAE, NTS, Coredux, and ASML regarding Tin management, Reticle Masking (ReMa), Refurbish projects, and Reuse projects. Industrialization process: Responsible for the industrialization of Tin management, Qualification, Cleanliness & Contamination Control. Responsible for the release and capture of technical issues through the FMEA process and Critical Design Review (CDR), Part Qualification Report (PQR) and TDP Accepted Survey (TAS) & Proto Evaluation Reports .
2016 – Present ASML Competence Engineer Anticipate, analyze and solve problems from 1st and 2nd line support or manufacturing operator, help building the problem solving capacity, develop capabilities for new product launches and support within product guidelines and timeframes as agreed with the (internal) customer by creating and maintaining working instructions and providing manufacturing and service requirements into the Product Generation Process (PGP) and making optimal use of knowledge inside and outside the own domain, in order to support manufacturing and servicing ASML Machines. Maintain working relations with relevant contacts inside and outside the own department/sector to share knowledge, as a basis for cross-sector optimization. Contribute to clarifying the needs from (internal) customers to improve overall capability to solve problems, assist in the creation of the necessary training material to increase the knowledge level of other engineers (e.g. field applications engineers in continental organizations), work with development and use knowledge gathered from troubleshooting cases to create the necessary means & methods for others. Create new procedures for new manufacturing engineering process and maintaining the existing procedure. Optimizing manufacturing engineering process for the department Spect Rally Pure EUV Collection for the completeness and quality of all knowledge, tools and spare parts by using 6p = P / 6s = S methodology.
Keep the assigned machines in perfect state by keeping the machine, hard- and software configuration up-to-date. Therefore implement required Field Change Order’s (FCO), log all activities in the logbook and carry out and/or assist the integration activities on the machines. Besides this diagnose, troubleshoot and report issues in the design to improve system performance and review test plans to ensure efficient use of the system. I provide technical support to R&D engineers and ensure efficient use of machines, escalate in case of problems to group leader or Proto Integrator. Ensure safe working environment and work according 5S principles.
Process conditions and equipment requirements define together with innovation department and colleague process engineer. Technical management of maintenance and breakdowns of production tooling in clean room (class 100) for optical sensors and lenses on wafer size. Specify and release of production machinery and equipment. Solving failures in production processes, analyzing and improving subsequent process steps such as replication processes diebonding processes or pick and place and dicing processes. Training operators on renewed production and self-resolving process errors and failures. Technical content matching, specify and report on R & D by preparing SAT and FAT for adapting or renewing production equipment.
