I am a former Structured Finance leader and Private Banking CEO with deep entrepreneurial experience and demonstrated ability to lead large and complex organisations. I am an energetic leader recognised for strategising, conceptualising and executing to deliver medium to long term business growth and shareholder value. I have vast turnaround experience with demonstrated ability to fix and restructure businesses addressing client, legal, regulatory, HR and cost related issues where timing and agility is critical. I have 40 years of financial services experience in a variety of roles across structured debt and corporate finance, investment banking, risk management and private banking. In my last role I led Citi Private Bank for Europe, Middle East and Africa for 14 years, having had the privilege to interact with some of the most successful families, business leaders and entrepreneurs across EMEA. I retired from Citi in March 2024 and am very proud of the very talented team built at Citi Private Bank, making it the obvious choice for providing insightful wealth management solutions, service excellence, strong advice, and innovation to sophisticated families across the region. I am a member of the board of ESAS, an internationally known firm with offices in Istanbul and London and investments spanning six continents. ESAS has investment expertise in private equity, real estate, and venture markets and is one of the leading Turkish family investment holding companies. I am also on the Board of Soltec Power Holdings S.A., a company leader in the solar tracker industry.
