Responsibilities included ensuring business continuity through incident and problem management, managing the introduction of changes by residing over the Change Authorization Board, overseeing and authorizing the use of the enhancement development budget, coordinating the various audits (including SOx) in the department.
Development lead for the GM Global Purchasing System project. Responsibilities included managing a team of local (USA) and global business analysts, and giving direction to an external development team.
Managing a team of buyers responsible for the purchasing of electrical parts from the Benelux, French and Italian supply market for part supply to all the GM assembly and engine facilities across Europe. Yearly contract value under our responsibility exceeded several hundred million Euros.
