In the lead for several avionics projects – development of new displays to be integrated within aircraft cockpit for civil and military applications
Within the Audio team we are responsible of the complete audio system for Philips High End TV's. I was responsible for the audio hardware part on the main TV platform and the integration of a wireless audio solution (based on Kleernet solution). We co-developed the wireless speakers and wireless transmitter (USB dongle) with an external company. Project coordination with suppliers, project follow up from PCB creation, HW bring-up, SW integration, system testing. Supplier roadmap folllow-up (cameras, wireless audio solution, audio amplifiers, ...).
Responsible for the integration of Skype within Philips TV. In charge of the Audio certification by Skype in Tallinn (Estonia). Supplier roadmap follow-up (microphones, VIP, AEC, ...). Technical challenges: microphone choice for long range speakerphones, echo cancellation, audio latency.
Within the RF/Broadcast team I was in charge of the integration of Satellite (DVB-S/S2), DVB-T2 within Philips TV. Project follow up from PCB creation, HW bring-up, SW integration, system testing, up to certification by dedicated certification bodies. Supplier roadmap folllow-up (tuner, channel decoder, LNB IC).
Final project. Development of a platform in order to embed speech recognition SW. Choise of components (Codec, Memories, Power supply), Electrical schematic, PCB layout, documentation, tests & validation.
