-Event project management: scheduling, pre-event planning, budget management, event logistics and execution on-site including the management of speakers, staff and reporting and ensuring everything is accomplished to the highest standard. -Liaised with Communication Team (interstate) and Design team regarding the branding, promotion and development of communication plan for each event. -Worked with external stakeholders: speakers, public and private partners, French and Australian companies, venues, entertainment, catering and media. -Managed events marketing through social media and newsletters as well as events bookings, payments and ticketing using Eventbrite -Liaised extensively with French and Australian companies, trade and governmental organisations, external stakeholders and interstate offices. -Managed interns, assigned tasks and provided day to day guidance to each of them -Identified leads and actively promoted the Chamber’s memberships and other services. Key Achievements: -Created, developed and delivered about 40 events per year in Melbourne including corporate conferences, business meetings, workshops and networking events -Created and organised the annual flagship events (Gala Dinner & Tour De France Lunch) with hundreds of guests including high level attendees such as the French Ambassador and C-Level executives from the French-Australian community. -Developed and maintained positive and durable relationship with members by listening to their needs and requests, and by striving to meet their expectations
