Responsible of a team of 3 Managers, 10 specialists and 2 technical Assistants to: * Ensure all Toyota vehicles produced in Europe are launched on time by setting the objectives for each different phase from the concept stage to to the final Ramp up, checking their feasibility and solving any concerns that are not in line with the original targets being set up. * Create and agree with all key departments of the organisation the vehicle Master Schedule that fits both sales and manufacturing requirements. * Identify and resolve any business or technical concern that may compromise the start of production. * Implement all design changes to support new vehicle launches and/or existing product improvement, in close cooperation with other Toyota departments and with our suppliers to ensure the parts are modified on time with the right quality and cost. * Actively drive problem solving in line with the Toyota Way.
Brief job description • Customer (Ford) and supplier single point of contact • Interface between design-project, purchasing, production, quality and logistics Main tasks • Follow-up of sub-components and production facilities development • Follow-up of manufacturing and/or delivery of prototypes and pre-serial parts • LRR (Launch Readiness Review), PPAP (Production Approval Process) and PSW (Part Submission Warrant) leader • Production facilities set-up coordination • Production Leader during launch phase • Leader of Engineering changes, Global 8D reports and recovery plans
