Digitize and analyze local news archival footage (particularly from VHS recordings) under the UCLA Irv Drasnin and Xiaoyan Zhao Drasnin Communication Archive.
Work under Professor Tim Groeling to analyze local LA news content as an extension of the UCLA Initiative to Study Hate. Content analysis focuses on racial bias and crime reporting within television news.
Lead OSSA newsletter and external relations, in addition to Social Media Manger responsibilities.
Head of club advertising and social posts centered on events and brand partnerships for UCLA's only organization for out-of-state students. Organize and generate ideas for member events and community engagement with other board members.
Head of Civic Engagement and Marketing committees and board member. Manages quarterly recruitment, club photos, and attendance. Leads outreach to speakers, IGNITE national, and other organizations.
As point person for communication between the Ignite board and marketing committee members, I pair marketing tasks with the right people and keep everyone on track.
Co-author and contributor to the IGNITE at UCLA monthly newsletters. Collaborated with colleagues to update the club website to be more accessible and visually aesthetic. I also design, research, and create content for Instagram to spread awareness about women's rights and increase user engagement.
