The purpose of this role is to assist in all functions of the customer service department, working closely with customers, internal department and supporting the Sales Team. Responsibilities: Processing and checking customer’s orders via email, EDI, telephone and fax. Inbound/outbound telephone communications and dealing with customer enquiries. Liaising with customers in respect to failed deliveries, stock issues and price discrepancies, including but not limited to major accounts, online retailers & wholesalers. Process delivery notes for the orders packed. Manage customers specific labelling & paperwork requirements. Submit ASN’s for customers that require them. Book in any deliveries to customers and book transport for pallet deliveries. Raise invoices for orders shipped, send by post or email. Some sales i.e. following up on lapsed business and customers
