Working with first year students, assisting them throughout their transition from College to University. Dealing with a wide variety of tasks from improving their academic skills with presentation practice and essay techniques, as well as social issues they may be having while making the move to University. - developed my initiative and the ability to quickly make a decision and give an answer to the students. - developed my organisational skills through planning a session every week. - developed my communication skills through giving presentations and answering any questions they may have.
One week internship within Lush's Brand Protection team. Throughout my time there I researched the laws and regulations in 4 different countries where Lush operates in order to produce a comprehensive report. Valuable research skills were enhanced as well as both verbal and written communication skills. Excellent opportunity to learn more about in-house law and the areas in which companies such as Lush cover with their legal work.
