Shadowing a solicitor at my local Citizens Advice Centre developed my client interview skills and gives me the opportunity to showcase my adaptability whilst delivering legal advice to an array of people with individual problems.
Participated in workshops relating to interview skills, application processes and advocacy skills.
Responding effectively to unexpected questions from an impersonated Judge prompted my ability to think on the spot and be adaptable to legal challenge. Constructing practical bundles and skeleton arguments under tight time constraints further enhanced my preparation and organisation skills. Delivering a persuasive argument in a court-like setting and successfully responding to counter arguments from those actin g as opposition supplemented previous oral advocacy knowledge.
