      The main goal of the Multi-Project Manager (MPM) is to ensure successful delivery of the project portfolio of the Compass Delivery Center (CDC). The integrated execution of multiple projects, implementing services on a shared Siebel platform, implies the need to implement multi-project management processes. The MPM will analyze dependencies in the project portfolio, monitor their status (timeline, effort, costs) and define measures to mitigate resulting risks. With a consolidated status report the MPM creates transparency for CDC management on the overarching status of the project portfolio. He is aware of issues and risks in the project portfolio and supports the project managers to create decision proposals to solve project issues, especially if an alignment across project is required. The MPM will collaborate intensively with the release manager and project managers to ensure all deliverables for a new service releases are provided in quality and on time. As part of the project portfolio planning process, the MPM is responsible to define an integrated plan for the delivery of prioritized IT demands addressing the allocation of internal and external IT resources as well as dependencies in the project timelines and the consolidated view on project budgets. The MPM will be the owner of the CDC project management process. He /she will be responsible to define CDC project management standards and best practices on corporate standards and industry best practices. The MPM will advise and coach project managers in order to establish project management standards within the organization.
