I am a dual registered Nurse and Midwife with over ten years’ experience across child and family health, midwifery, emergency and surgical nursing in tertiary and community settings. I currently work as a Clinical Nurse Specialist/Child and Family Health Nurse in Northern Sydney Local Health District, partnering with families of children 0–5 years, including those experiencing psychosocial adversity, to promote safe, secure relationships and healthy development in the crucial first 2000 days. Drawing on postgraduate qualifications in Child and Family Health and ongoing Masters studies in Women and Children’s Health (Leadership and Management), I provide trauma‑informed, evidence‑based care. My practice is grounded in the family partnership and strengths‑based models, with extensive experience coordinating care with maternity, perinatal and child and youth mental health, allied health, GPs, DCJ and community services. I am particularly interested in early intervention, secure attachment, perinatal mental health and health education, and I enjoy contributing to quality improvement, mentoring colleagues and supporting service development within child and family health.
