Growing up in a bilingual and multicultural household, with a Spanish father and American mother, really helped me navigate traditions, language, and global perspective. Not only did my upbringing make me bilingual, but it also gave me a lifelong passion for intercultural communication and storytelling -- and now I am channeling these passions into a future career in Public Relations! This past year, I had the incredible opportunity to compete in the national PRSSA Bateman Case Study Competition, where my team earned a spot in top 12 nationwide! That experience deepened my skills in campaign strategy, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. Whether it's crafting messages that resonate across diverse audiences or building bridges through communication, I’m all about making meaningful connections. Competing in the 2025 Bateman Competition hosted by PRSA and PRSSA. Libros Unidos LB is working in collaboration with EveryLibrary to create a campaign designed to fight against book bans and censorship, while advocating for libraries. We strive to connect with the marginalized communities of Long Beach to protect their access to knowledge and pursuit of intellectual freedom. As the Director of Media Relations, my tasks involve creating press releases, media blasts, pitching to the media, etc..
