"If you can't imagine doing it forever, don't do it at all" -Naval Ravikant Passion is the greatest competitive edge someone can have, because the real enjoyment of the work a person does creates a level of commitment that can’t be forced. Obsession may burn bright temporarily, but passion lasts. It keeps you learning, improving, and showing up even when progress is slow, and that kind of durability is what leads to real growth. This is a purpose that I live by and look for not just in engineering, but in everything I do in my life. I’m an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering student at Iowa State University (Class of 2028) interested in aerospace applications, manufacturing, test engineering, root-cause analysis, and mechanical design. I enjoy solving practical problems and contributing to work that improves the performance of vital systems. Through hands-on projects at Collins Aerospace, JT Thorpe, and Iowa State, I’ve continued building my passion for CAD, mechanical systems, manufacturing, and collaborative problem-solving. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue graduate education, with the goal of earning a master’s degree and potentially a Ph.D., as I continue developing deeper technical expertise. Long term, I aspire to grow into a highly trusted technical leader, with the ambition of one day becoming a Technical Fellow and contributing to advanced engineering solutions at the highest level. I’m currently seeking engineering internship opportunities where I can contribute, keep learning, and grow into a well-rounded engineer.
