​As a Systems Administrator with a background in Software Development, I am driven by the goal of making IT infrastructure more efficient through automation and proactive management. ​Currently, at The Tile Shop, I oversee the health and security of our enterprise systems. My work focuses on ensuring that our employees and facilities have reliable access to the tools they need to succeed. I specialize in identifying manual IT processes and replacing them with automated solutions, leveraging my knowledge in software development to streamline system administration. ​Key areas of focus in my current role: ​System Automation: Using PowerShell and SQL to automate repetitive tasks, from user provisioning to critical system backups. ​Infrastructure Management: Maintaining the stability of our Active Directory, O365 environment, and Windows Server infrastructure across over 1,000 endpoints. ​Cloud Integration: Managing hybrid environments. ​Problem Solving: Applying a developer’s mindset to troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and networking issues. ​I hold a B.S. in Software Development from Western Governors University and several industry certifications (CompTIA A+, Project+, ITIL).
