Working in the district heating part of the "Entsorgung & Recycling Zürich" (disposal of waste and recycling). I am doing projects to maintain the heat production facilities and to achieve CO2 neutrality until 2030. The plant produces 697MWh/year of heat using waste-to-energy plant, wood, gas and oil vessels as sources.
Executing DCS Systems for Waste to Energy plants from the tender offer to the execution. Mainly with Emerson as a supplier. Responsible as well to maintain the functional safety aspects according IEC61511 and IEC61511. Projects executed in this position: -Edinburgh, 2018, 1 incineration line burning 155’000 t/y of waste, generating 12 MW electrical power -Istanbul, 2020, 3 incineration lines burning 1'000’000 t/y of waste, generating 70 MW electrical power
