Mechanical engineer with 5 years of experience in product development and project management, always working with cross-functional teams. I began my career in product development for agricultural machinery, where I had the opportunity to lead new projects and actively participate in product development. During this time, I had the opportunity to develop skills in the area of mobile hydraulics, modeling in CREO parametric software, and application of the GD&T language. I currently work as a consultant in the product development area of Volvo do Brasil, in the truck division, developing projects for MACK trucks in the United States and for Volvo do Brasil. I am part of the chassis team, being responsible for developing the metal supports for the components that are anchored to the chassis, and also for developing the exhaust system. I use the AGILE methodology to manage the demands of the sector through the JIRA software and I perform 3D modeling with the parametric software CREO.
I currently work as an engineering consultant at Volvo do Brasil in the Truck Division, supporting multifunctional projects for MACK trucks in the United States and for Volvo do Brasil. Main Responsibilities: - Design and development of sheet metal brackets for truck exhaust systems. - Exhaust pipe routing, including inlet and outlet pipe solutions, considering the temperature and pressure requirements defined by the powertrain team. - Review of finite element analysis (FEA) performed by a specialized team, including CVM, static and CFD simulations, to ensure system compliance or propose design improvements. - Create 2D drawings for developed systems, allowing suppliers and internal teams to understand the technical requirements. This includes applying GD&T to improve part quality and repeatability. - Participate in cross-functional meetings to present design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders, such as Aftermarket, Purchasing and Manufacturing. - Documentation of components developed in internal systems, ensuring compliance with Volvo's standards and technical requirements. - The entire product development process requires creativity, technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and a holistic view of the system. Project Management: - Activities are planned using the AGILE methodology, managed by JIRA. - Application of quality tools (Risk analysis, DFMEA, Root Cause Analysis) Tools and Systems: PTC/CREO Parametric 10.0 – 3D modeling and design. JIRA – Agile project management and task tracking. KOLA (Volvo's internal system) – Documentation and parts registration.
- Development of new products focusing on solutions for agricultural fertilizer distribution and spraying machines. - Development of sheetmetal parts using bending and cut laser. - Monitoring during the implementation of new products, carrying out management and integration between other areas of the company. - Monitoring current products, providing improvement and cost reduction solutions. - Routing of hydraulic hoses and pipes. - Development of hydraulic projects, with an emphasis on mobile hydraulics. Carrying out sizing and developing solutions for agricultural machines. - Development of plastic parts. Rotomolding and Thermoforming - Monitoring of tests, specification and conduction of validation plans following internal standards. - Application and supervision of technical design and GD&T standards.
