Responsible for the operations of the Pasta and Lucchetti complex, which includes a semolina production mill, a pasta production plant, a 17,000-position distribution center, supply chain operations, and a third-party flour fractionation business with three production centers under the responsibility of Molinos Cañuelas. In charge of expanding the plant's production capacity (+40%) and developing new SKUs, as well as improving safety indicators, claims, maintenance, fill rate, and continuous improvement. Managed a total of 230 employees.
Responsible for the manufacturing and distribution operations of the Patricia brand beer throughout Uruguay, as well as being the only beer bottler in cans in Uruguay. The plant is located in a national park where rigorous environmental controls are met in terms of effluent discharge and resource consumption. During my tenure, significant union agreements were reached (productivity and new task schemes) and a new distribution center was launched, improving fill rate (95%) and on-time delivery. The areas under my responsibility included HR, Maintenance, Production, Logistics, Production Planning, Administration, and Quality. Ensured variable and fixed production costs were met. Implemented continuous improvement and conducted internal and external audits. Developed PDCA and implemented a continuous production improvement system throughout the plant. Managed a team of 200 employees.
Responsible for industrial launchings of oneway innovations for South Latin America, overseeing the production of Argentina's only oneway packaging line and its exports. Led the development of new products by collaborating with R&D, Marketing, and Sales departments. Managed and coordinated a team of 57 employees across 4 rotating shifts and one process engineer, leading new processes and projects. Implemented a Green Belt Six Sigma project to improve GLY in collaboration with SC&C (Consultancy in Supply Chain and Services) through the University Austral, focusing on LEAN tools.
Responsible for ensuring beer production plans are met with programmed efficiency and quality and safety requirements within regulations. Coordinated and managed a team of 64 employees across 4 rotating shifts and 2 process engineers. Led negotiations with the union for temporary workers' entry and exit, permanent hires, and work arrangements. Reviewed and monitored weekly TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) plan compliance and conducted corresponding audits. Developed PDCA cycles to ensure continuous improvement in efficiency (OEE, GLY, and LEF), productivity, energy consumption, and fluid consumption of the production line. Monitored and provided feedback on team members' performance and created individual development plans.
