During my time as the Senior Finance Analyst for GSK, I was and am a part of the entire migration journey between GSK & Pfizer, which was focused on combining their consumer healthcare businesses into a world-leading Joint Venture. We have achieved superior sales growth of key brands in Oral Care, Wellness despite the adverse impact of the COVID pandemic. -Prepare statutory financial statements accurately and consolidation packages within GSK Group calendar timeframe. -Maintenance & reconciliation of balance sheet accounts -In charge of end-to-end Record to Report scope -Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (IFRS) and company procedures -Ensure stakeholders queries are attended to and resolved in a timely and proactive manner -Perform variance analysis of actual results versus forecast, presenting to various stakeholders ranging from Finance Business Partner to Finance Director. -Engaged with assigned SMEs to migrate GSK & Pfizer financial records into one ERP system -Support new and existing team members through proper knowledge transfer
Overlook the overall monthly end to end RTR processes and ensure timely closing and reporting processes. I led a team of 4, handling a portfolio combined of 25 legal entities. As first level of escalation point, I take lead in issue resolution on BAU operational matters. Conduct monthly balance sheet review meeting with stakeholders to ensure long aged open items are addressed timely.
Largely focused in supporting production forecasting, actual reporting for all Lubricant products in Shell Singapore. Responsible for partnering with accounting team on month-end activities to deliver accurate financial data. I worked across business functions and business management to ensure logistics of Lubricant products were aligned to the aggressive growth plans of the company.
As part of a world leading bank that provides investor services, I worked closely to deliver the prices of allocated funds in tight deadlines & SLA timings. Through system Multifonds, I completed the fund calculation after inputting all finance entries including performance fees, tax provisions, dividends as such. As a fund accountant, I delivered industry specific reports focused on Net Asset Value (NAV) of different funds offered by RBC. We have maintained accuracy and timeliness rating at 99.95% for 12 months consecutively.
Part of the team that supports multiple regions across Asia Pacific, I served clients from Singapore, Hong Kong & Philippines. Through preparing annual budget and monthly forecast reports, I uncovered opportunities for clients to leverage the use of budget assigned to their business units. As a financial analyst, I prepared financial models to support the regional management for business decision making & new business development.
