    • E2E SC Director (Production, Logistics, etc.) in Italy & European Production Excellence Leader
      Jan 2022 - Aug 2023 · 1 yr 8 mos

During my last mission in Heineken, I was simultaneously holding two separate roles: responsible for the Supply Chain of Heineken Italy and leader of a major transformational program at European level to achieve manufacturing excellence. Heineken is the beer market leader in Italy, with about 800 MEUR revenue, 150 MEUR EBITDA, 1.300 employees. I was part of the Italian Management Team, reporting to the Managing Director. My functional mission was to lead the End-to-End Supply Chain: 4 breweries, Logistics, Customer Service, Planning, Product Development, Engineering, Quality and other central departments. I was focusing on two areas: the improvement of the overall efficiency of the Italian breweries and the mitigation of the effects of global supply chain crisis that happened at that time. I was also leading a transformation program for all the 60 Heineken European plants, with the aim to leverage the regional scale and improve performance. Focus was on productivity and efficiency with the aim of achieving 130 MEUR savings by 2025. To manage this activity, I coordinated an international team of 25 full-time dedicated senior leaders and cross-functional top talents.

I joint Heineken Spain in the most critical moment, caused by COVID crisis, which affected brutally the On-Trade business and the company performance. My main mission was to reorganize the operations to gain short-term benefits and ensure long-term sustainability. Tjhe most significant result was probably to have greatest saving in Europe together with a strong improvement of Service Level appreciation in the market.
