About

I'm a post-doc at the University observatory of LMU Munich in the group of Prof. Daniel Grün. I obtained my PhD at ETH Zürich with Prof. Alexandre Refregier and Prof. Adam Amara. I am author of the popular-science book "Galassie" and I am also working as external collaborator for the Italian outreach page Geopop. My research interests are the creation of generative models for the galaxy population, the forward-modelling of photometric and spectroscopic surveys and the study of scaling relations and stellar populations of galaxies in clusters. I'm member of various scientific collaborations: LSST DESC, 4MOST, Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI), PAU survey, and CLASH-VLT.
