About

Over 25 years of experience in managing construction projects, mostly roads, highways and railways and more recently in MEP installations and Photovoltaic Power Plants. Expert in technical- economic aspects management of the project, project planning and cost control, combined with careful management of Client relationships. Initially as Responsible for the site technical office, while also dealing with active and passive accounting, then, after a few years spent in the role of construction manager, to consolidate in the second part of my career the function of Project Manager. Expertise includes operational and economical management of the project, in particular definition of budget, cash-flow and scheduling of activities, but also the careful management of relationships with Subcontractors and Client. Main strength is in the ability to efficiently operate in a team environment, while maintaining a tight control on deliverables, deadlines and the quality of the work product generated. Projects have included industrial building, photovoltaic plants, MEP installations, electro-instrumental installations, highways, high speed railways, viaducts, bridges, road/railroad/hydro tunnels, overpasses, underpasses, hydro-power, dams, powerhouses.

    In charge for the construction of a Photovoltaic Plant of 253 MW, Nueva Xcala Project, Tlaxcala State, MEXICO. Client: Engie Solar. Initial project amount 27M USD. In charge for the construction of a Photovoltaic Plant of 120 MW, Tamaya Project, Antofagasta Region, CHILE. Client: Engie Solar. Initial project amount 20M USD. In Nueva Excala, arriving to replace the second project manager in the construction of a solar energy plant, I was called upon to catch up on over 3 months of delayed work, successfully, partially coinciding with the company's financial crisis. The result was achieved through a financial advance granted by the client, released as a result of the trust gained through the organizational and operational change manifested. Main duties: - Management of the project budget and construction schedule, in accordance with contractual directives and coordinating the internal design team and site operations team with the collaboration of the Site Manager and his staff. The work force came to more than 670 units. - Direct management of relations with the client and sub-contractors also for issues concerning contractual aspects and accounting of works. - Client (Engie Solar) required particular attention for procedures of environment preservation - Report weekly progress to the Company Head of South America Operations and Client Representative - Frequent involvement in managing relations with local people, against the execution of the work, with meetings dedicated to explaining the project's benefits for the area and raising awareness in this regard
