Luxembourg
I am an Italian-Brazilian lawyer (Paris Bar) with 10 years of experience in business and financial law. My career has taken me from private practice in France and Luxembourg to in-house roles, and most recently, to my work as legal counsel at the European Investment Bank. I specialize in cross-border business transactions, particularly in financial and development law. I hold a double degree in English and French Law, a Master’s in International Business Law, and I am currently an Executive MBA candidate at Bologna Business School. My goal is to bridge the gap between legal risk management and high-level business strategy.
In this role, I draft and negotiate contractual arrangements with 3rd party donors of technical assistance (TA) funds, including UN agencies (e.g. GCF, UNOPS), World Bank Group entities (IBRD) and the European Commission. I also prepare and negotiate downstream contracts connected to the EIB’s TA operations with UN partners (e.g. UNDP) and with final beneficiaries (sovereign, non-sovereign and private sector). I provide legal advice to internal services related to the EIB’s internal approvals for TA operations as well as compliance with EIB rules, policies and procedures.
Vistra is one of the leading fund administration service providers in Luxembourg. In this role, I was in charge of being the first point of contact and providing day-to-day legal, corporate and secretarial assistance to a portfolio of approximately 30 international clients (including investment funds) in the private equity and real estate sector.
As an associate in this top-tier Luxembourgish business law firm, I focused on providing legal advice and preparing and negotiating legal documentation in the fields of corporate law (incorporation, cross-border acquisitions, restructurings, dissolution and liquidation) and structured finance (external and intra-group financing of investments in real estate and private equity).
In this role in this Franco-German business law firm, I provided legal advice and negotiated legal documentation in the fields of corporate law and compliance. I also assisted French and foreign companies in commercial, intellectual property and employment litigation procedures.
