Experienced Automation Product Manager with a demonstrated history of successes in industrial robotics, now engaged in mobile robotics with AGV and in the Digital trasformation of automation industry. Strong professional skills in program and project management, in Software Engineering, Controls Engineering and people Management.
In the Global Solution Development team my role is to follow projects with high content of digitalization and based on innovative applications of robots. By a systemic approach, I take care of all software features and the hardware architectural implications. The domain also includes the mobile robotics and artificial intelligence. About those topics I take care of designing the internal architecture of AGVs, of their ancillary devices and how AGVs and robots can be applied in the factories of the future.
My role is to integrate and synchronize a group of software engineers with high levels of technical competences. We deal of the various souls of modern Robotics: motion trajectory generation, safe motion, user interface, communications, real time operating system, wireless teach pendant. We are a mix of people with more than 25 years of experience in Industrial Robotics and brilliant young engineers, always more frequently in contact with European universities and research centers.
From this position I was able to give a look forward in what would have been the tendency in the Robotics field in the next five - ten years. This role was expecially played in the EC funded project SMErobot, as Thrust Leader in developing a Robotics system to be deployed in a Small Medium Entrerpise: robots leave the big Automotive structured factories to pervade new fields and ways of applications.
