Consultant and guest lecturer with experience spanning financial management and modelling and the evaluation of development interventions. My work sits at the intersection of finance and impact: from complex financial modelling (e.g., business plan modelling for a c. USD 7bn-revenue group) to advisory on conventional, development and ESG finance for leading sovereigns, corporates and institutional investors (e.g., USD 3bn green issuance for a leading SWF, technical assistance on a USD 689m IMF programme for an African sovereign); from collaborating with academic institutions on impact evaluations (e.g., workplace policy evaluation in Kenya with Bocconi LEAP) to theory-based evaluations of the results of development interventions in fragile and conflict-affected contexts (e.g., evaluation of ICRC's engagement with State Armed Forces worldwide, including case studies in Ukraine, Nigeria, Philippines). Co-founder of Methodica Consulting, a boutique firm specialised in measuring social change in complex settings for leading bilateral and multilateral donors (UN, ICRC, Italian MFA). Independently, I take on selected consulting mandates in corporate finance and financial modelling (e.g., business plan revamping for a c. USD 7bn-revenue group). I also teach Evaluation of Humanitarian and Development Interventions at Johns Hopkins SAIS.
Methodica Consulting is a consulting firm specialised in measuring social change in complex settings. We build tailored M&E and research methodologies to support public and private entities in delivering social change in remote locations, fragile states, and developing countries. Our complementary expertise in qualitative and quantitative methods has been successfully employed in various assignments: from OECD-DAC-based evaluations and verification exercises to more advanced outcome-focused monitoring systems and research; from descriptive and inferential statistics to country-level econometric assessments.

Responsible for the Course in Evaluation of Humanitarian and Development Interventions at Johns Hopkins SAIS. The course introduces graduate students to theory-based evaluation methodology applied to humanitarian and development contexts, covering OECD-DAC criteria, Theory of Change design, evaluation matrices, mixed-methods data collection, data analysis, and ethics in evaluation.
The Rothschild & Co Sovereign Advisory team accompanies Sovereign and Quasi-Sovereign entities on a range of economic development and financial issues, such as the design and implementation of development and financing strategies, the execution of financing or restructuring transactions, and the management of public assets and contingent liabilities. The team has advised on some of the most complex transactions in the Sovereign space such as Ukraine's $21bn debt restructuring, Sri Lanka's $13bn international bond restructuring and Chad's $570m Extended Credit Facility from the International Monetary Fund.
