Passionate about data, biomechanics and human motion analysis, I combine biomedical engineering expertise with software development to build computer vision systems, AI-based human pose estimation algorithms and real-time data pipelines that deliver practical solutions for rehabilitation, sports performance and industrial applications.
- Development of calibration systems, using computer vision or stereophotogrammetry - Development and implementation of AI algorithms and filtering methods for real‑time human pose estimation in VR/AR scenarios - Acquistion, analysis and validation of data get from RGB‑D and RGB cameras, load cells and IMUs - Research and testing of new sensors and technologies with the clinical department - Validation of medical devices through comparison with gold standard technologies - Public speaking at conferences and lectures
- Performance and functional assessments of Olympic sports national athletes - Acquisition, analysis and reporting of indoor and outdoor tests using innovative tools (3D motion capture systems, force plaforms, insoles, optoelectronic bars and inertial sensors)
Testing and validation of ADAS technologies introduced in vehicles, both from functional and performance point of view, checking the absence of bugs in the systems and in the control units of the tested cars. Trials are carried out in different testings environment, acquiring and analyzing Vehicle Drive Data using the CANalyzer tool. Detailed reports are finally performed to highlight the critical issues occurred during the tests, to allow the improvement of system performance .
Master thesis project about safety in ski jumping: Calculation of body angles in landing preparation phase and their correlation with ground reaction forces
Bachelor's degree internship about lasers applied in urological surgery: state of art of the commonly used lasers in urological surgery, evaluating benefits and disadvantage of each technique.
