I take the lessons learned from my past adventures and expeditions in the desert and jungle and relate them to the Aviation environment. My life stories are of survival, courage, perseverance, passion, tenacity, amazing teamwork, and the will to win. When I ran the toughest 250 km desert footrace on earth (Marathon des Sables) , I thought about quitting approximately 1,000 times. (And that’s a lowball estimate.) But despite the heat, sandstorms, and mental and physical fatigue, I kept going. I’m that person. Once I say I’ll commit myself to something, it will happen. Now, I put that perseverance to work in the Aviation world, I don’t have to conquer any desert or jungle …but it takes the hands of a surgeon, the eyes of an eagle and the patience of a watchmaker to be an outstanding Aerospace professional. I’m well-versed in negotiations and relationship management with a unique brand of honesty and humor.
