About

I am currently pursuing my PhD in Immunology at the Lydia Becker Institute of Immunology and Inflammation of the University of Manchester after graduating from my second Master's in Applied Genomics at the Faculty of Medicine of Imperial College London and my MBiolSci in Genetics at the School of Molecular Biosciences of the University of Sheffield. With about a decade's worth of hands-on laboratory experience, I am motivated to pursue a path in wet lab research. My key interests lie in the broad areas of immunology, cancer research, and the contribution of inflammageing to complex disease.

PAL Leader Coordinators are experienced volunteers who have previously undertaken the role of PAL Leader. They attend additional training, and then complete regular observations of PAL sessions on their scheme and provide constructive feedback to Leaders to support their development. They are also invited to chair debrief sessions and attend meetings with Coordinators from other schemes to share ideas and good practice. Through their role, PAL Leader Coordinators play a key part in monitoring and enhancing the quality of PAL sessions, developing the PAL programme within and beyond their department, and provide valuable feedback, support, and coaching to new PAL Leaders.
