LOUIS L. REED Louis L. Reed, a leading figure in social impact, serves as the Executive Vice President at the Douglass Project and founder of Decoded: Story Lab. After serving 14 years in federal prison, his leadership has supported the passage of 30 legislative bills, notably the First Step Act, creating a pathway to freedom for over 600K people justice-impacted. His prior roles include Senior Executive at REFORM Alliance, National Advocacy and Campaigns Director at Fines and Fees Justice Center, and Director of National Organizing at Dream Corps JUSTICE, where he built a large bipartisan grassroots coalition.
