Künstlerische Leitung, Art Director, Grafikdesign ----- YOUR GUTS is a new series for contemporary experimental music. The menu features moderately digestible music and sonic delicacies from international and local artists - a fusion cuisine that combines new digital and analogue approaches with a good dose of DIY punk attitude. The event series is curated by the three young Hamburg and Berlin based artists and musicians Zuza Spyczak von Brzezinska, Jana de Jonge and Louise Vind Nielsen and takes place in cooperation with ZOLLO and PARKS on the site of the former recycling yard in Hamburg Hammerbrook.

In the seminar we immerse ourselves in auditory labyrinths, both theoretically, physically and artistically. Using simple means, we will create our own sound labyrinths for and with an audience and explore the technologies of augmented audio. The labyrinth is an ancient symbol of wholeness. It represents a transformative journey to one's centre and back to the world. It can be described as a winding path whose lines inevitably reach their destination - the centre - by regularly changing direction. In the human ear, the so-called inner ear labyrinth is a complex system of small bone cavities. This is where the organ of balance is located, which is used to perceive movement and acceleration in space. We are all permeated by sound, be it in everyday environments, digital networks, but also in institutional, social and political spaces. How do we perceive ourselves and each other in these complex structures? How can augmented audio help us to orientate ourselves, but also seduce, confuse and deceive us? Louise Vind Nielsen is a Danish sound and performance artist. In a diverse artistic practice, she explores complex themes, often with a humorous approach. She graduated from the Det Jyske Kunstakademie in Aarhus, Denmark (2013) and studied at the Hochschule für bildende Künste in Hamburg (2011-2012). Since 2015 she has curated the Workshop series "Radikal Unsichtbar - Centre for Colective Learning and Radical Listening"
