. Part of the US FIS team based in London, taken on board to support the UK finance team defining requirements for the integration of the LMPR platform (New brokerage revenue system) to the accounting/financial system and coordinate with the US team in charge of implementing the solution. . Organized workshops, write specifications, plan and coordinate activities for the different team involved, report to the US FIS to provide a better visibility on the situation. This position required to learn quickly about the brokerage business, have a great understanding of accounting schemes (more than 140 different scenarios, multiple accounting derivation rules) but also be able to interact with many different parties to ensure the end to end solution would be flawless.
• Part of the P2P team, troubleshot AP, SLA, GL issues, tested customizations and fixed accounting issues related to French local requirement, SLA setup correction. • Replaced the P2P lead for one month starting just before Go-live, reported during finance team daily meetings, following up on issues and priorities. • In charge of the AP/GL data migration from 11i to R12, managing 3 persons to correct, test and validate all interfaces that would be used for data migration, ensuring compliance with accounting needs. Liaised directly with the business to validate data migration and supported the finance team for Go-Live. Position required high adaptation skills, to start on a new project and be operational right away. Taken on board for my expertise on a short term assignment to ensure Go-Live date would be met.
• Part of the GL configuration team, performing setup during at any stages of the implementation, dealing mainly with GL and SLA modules. • In direct relation with the core financials design team, building prototypes in order to evaluate/advise on the design feasibility (Average Daily balancing, Consolidation, AGIS, Primary/Secondary ledgers, Reporting currencies...) • Adivising on setup strategy and environment synchronization problems. Introduced the Oracle iSetup tool to increase the quality of the environment delivery.
