Advisor to YUCI on international education, helping to shape policy, build relationships with partner institutions and create opportunities for students to engage with UK higher education.
Managing the team who manage our students' smooth passage through University - from registration to courses to graduation. Leading a team committed to a * superlative experience * for all students. Working with course leaders, academics and University leaders to consistently serve our community better.
Manager who ensured that the School wheels kept turning. Right hand woman to the Head of School, responsible for HR, recruitment and finance operations plus management of the student/course administration and technical services teams. A wild ride of a role in which no two days were ever the same. One in which I laughed and cried, navigated tricky situations and truly grew in my personal power, leadership and communication skills.
A leadership role, which allowed me to meet, advise and work with students, academics, business and government leaders from far and wide. Essentially a marketing, recruitment and business development role, I found the greatest benefit and asset to be the aspect of relationship building and cross-cultural awareness. Through these skills students were recruited, partnerships created and deals signed. It was a pleasure and a privilege to work with so many wonderful people across the globe.
A transformative period in which I coached hundreds of students in class, group and one to one capacity. As well as English to speakers of other languages, I also taught Spanish and Italian. I amassed a great breadth of experience teaching early career through to through to business executives, as well as training and mentoring TESOL students. The birth of my love of teaching, training and coaching.
